How Did You Break Into The Industry / Your First Job
I received my first "industry" job through networking. I had originally applied for the job but did not get it. I had really wanted the job because I am extremely passionate of creating equality so I started to show up in the office on a daily basis, started to get to know the staff and getting as involved as I could with the office. I projected an idea of a mentoring program to her and started working on it and convinced her that I could pull off the program. The director noticed my efforts and she ended up offering me an internship and assigned my coordinator/creator of a mentoring program that I started in my university community.
Long Term Career Goal
My long term goal is really long. I pretty much want to conquer everything but have subsided with only accomplishing my top few. I want to be an entrepreneur; just so I won't limit myself. I want to own my own talent agency, production studio, online booking agency and be an actress (to name the few). My heart has always been in the entertainment industry, I not only want to succeed within the industry but I also want to help others reach their dreams as well.
