How Did You Break Into The Industry / Your First Job
Working at the Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center on campus has been a growing experience. When I first stepped on campus I would always hang around in the center and help set up and clean up after and before events and decided that I would love to work there and applied my second semester. I was brought on staff as a front desk assistant and by continuing to prove my work ethic I was eventually moved to a personal assistant position with one of my supervisors overseeing task and making sure that all events especially the co-sponsored ones were logistically correct and had the right public appeal.
Long Term Career Goal
I would love to become a public relations specialist presentative for either GQ or Microsoft corporate headquarters. Being able to use my communication and critical analysis skills to help clients figure out what's next for their companies and the best way to get new cliental on board and keep their public image up not only on social media, but at public showings and venues.
