How Did You Break Into The Industry / Your First Job
I first broke into media as an Ad Sales & Branding intern at Bloomberg LP's MARKETS magazine in 2006. Starting with cold calls, I proved myself fit to be assigned more projects and let into more meetings. From boosting complimentary circulation to assisting with account planning and learning about the company's approach to new business in emerging markets, I learned and grew to love advertising. I left the corporate side of media after college to work as a brand strategist at Creative Control.tv, a digital film company at Damon Dash's Tribeca studio, DD172. Currently, I freelance for experiental marketing groups and spend my days forecasting & charting trends, essentially translating their objectives into actions with matching digital footprints.
Long Term Career Goal
Eventually, I would like to produce treatments for commercials, own billboards and ad real estate, produce events for new talents and new products, manage digital and traditional services, and be an overall captain of industry in media.

2006. That's when I decided this was it. Advertising, in whatever form may herald next, will be my life's work. And that commitment is sincere. It has also come at great, personal expense with sacrifice and compromise. Still, I take my work, as fun as it may seem, very seriously. Some get it; some lack the capacity…
