 Position Overview:

Are you a superstar creative who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment?  Would you be excited about working on the lead brand within the mobile/technology category?  If you answered yes, then keep reading.  As Senior Art Director, you will be responsible for handling multiple projects from concept through execution in all media including but not limited to: television, print, collateral, presentation templates, point of sale, direct mail, logo development, web design, typography and video.  The Senior Art Director is expected to manage people and lead internal and external client meetings, as well as have a working understanding of all departments within the agency.  Reporting to the Creative Director (and directly to the Associate Creative Director), you’ll be working in a creative environment with various Art Directors, Copywriters, Digital Creatives, Designers, Digital Strategists, and Experiential team members.

We are looking for a superstar who can contribute to brainstorming and concept with the Creative Director and Account team.  Establish a visual aesthetic for the project in keeping with the brand identity and oversee the execution process on assigned projects. Lead critiques of work in both group and individual sessions and articulate the benefits of the creative approaches, internally and to clients.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop concepts, design/layout and campaigns for client projects, partnering with the Senior Copywriter when applicable to ensure the art direction and visual presentation support the defined strategy
  • Collaborate with creative, account services, experiential, production/art studio and extended team members on delivering breakthrough creative solutions
  • Present and sell ideas internally and to clients
  • Lead internal and external client meetings
  • Mentor Art Directors and Associate Art Directors
  • Keep up to date of all emerging technologies, popular culture and trends

  • Minimum 5 – 8 years art direction / design experience.
  • Strong concepting and presentation skills
  • Should be “360″ and have capabilities to work on everything. TV, Radio, POS, Experiential, Digital, Social Media, Promotions
  • Must be results and detail-oriented and be able to juggle multiple priorities and operate with a flexible schedule in order to meet tight and overlapping deadlines
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to articulate and present conceptual ideas effectively
  • Firm grasp of design and production, including use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • A working knowledge of Flash, HTML, After Effects, Final Cut Pro is a huge plus
